Charles William Ware

Charles William Ware, of Crawfordville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on  September 6, 2026, at WellStar MCG Hospital. He was born on May 31, 1952, in Crawfordville.

A man whose life was rooted in family and community, Charles was also committed to education. He graduated from Fort Valley State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in education, an accomplishment that reflected dedication and purpose and remained a meaningful part of his life’s story.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Ware; his mother, Winnie Lee Edwards Ware; and his sister, Alene Randolph.

Charles leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Ware Patterson of Atlanta, Georgia, and her husband, Dexter; and by his son, Charles W. Williams of Crawfordville, Georgia; and six loving grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Janice Ware of Augusta, Georgia, and Rosie Cullars of Crawfordville, Georgia, and her husband, Charlie. He leaves his brothers, Marvin Ware of Crawfordville, Georgia, and Oliver B. Ware of Birmingham, Alabama, and his wife, Sandra. Also holding his memory close is his special friend, Deltra Anderson.

Charles William Ware will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by all who shared in his life. His memory will remain a lasting blessing to his family and friends.
