Judith Stokes Bradberry

With heavy hearts, we share that Judith Bradberry, age 73, passed away on April 18, 2025, in Jonesboro, Georgia. A funeral will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Mulberry CME Church Cemetery (5129 Double Branches Road, Lincolnton, GA 30817).Judi will be remembered for her thoughtful, meticulous ways and her active participation in keeping the local neighborhood and community beautiful, just as much as she will for her service to College Park CME Church and her mastering of math. She spent her career as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service Southeast River Forecast Center for 36 years. Judi was a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).Judi was born on February 13, 1952, in Lincolnton, Georgia, to Moses Stokes Sr. and Rosa Lee Stokes. She was married to her doting husband, John Bradberry, for 45 years. John sadly passed away soon before her on March 31, 2025. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Julia Porter Stein and Walter Stokes. Judi is survived by her daughter, Adriane Bradberry. She is also survived by her brother, Moses Stokes Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
